2012 School Year:
Last year we introduced a special Two Tract Curriculum where the Certificate in Basic Studies was offered concurrently with a ten course Certificate in Intermediate Studies. New this year is a Diploma Program. This third series of courses is for those students who have succesfully completed both the Certificate in Basic Studies and the Certificate in Intermediate Studies. It will involve several higher level courses taught by Dr. Wise and an indiviualized project to be completed by each student. The course schedule for each program is listed below. Certificate in Basic Studies The Wise School of Ministry's Certificate of Basic Studies is a complete course of studies for those who seek a solid foundation for Bible study, theological study, Christian Doctrine, church history and spiritual growth. These thirteen courses lay the ground work upon which ministries in teaching, preaching, evangelism and virtually any other leadership position in the church may stand and develop.

(Based on Registration) Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from October 8 - November 12, 2011 October 8, 10, 2011 - Introduction to the Study of the Bible Winter Session 2012: Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from January 21 - February 25, 2012 January 21, 23, 2012 - Introduction to Theology Spring Session 2012: Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from April 7 - May 14, 2012 April 7, 9, 2012 - Power and Practice of Prayer _________________________________ Certificate in Intermediate Studies The Certificate in Intermediate Studies has been created as the next step for those who have completed the requirements of the Certificate in Basic Studies. It includes ten courses which rest upon the solid foundation of the previous thirteen courses as it expand the student's knowledge in biblical studies, theology and practical ministry. These courses will be offered at the same time every Monday night as the courses leading to the Certificate in Basic Studies. Fall Session 2011: Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from October 8 - November 12, 2011 October 8, 10, 2011 - Understanding Faith Winter Session 2012: Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from January 21 - February 25, 2012 January 21, 23, 2012 - African Influence on Christianity Spring Session 2012: Every Saturday (9 AM - 12 Noon) and Monday (6 PM - 9 PM) from April 7 - May 14, 2012 April 7, 9, 2012 - Power Words I _________________________________ Diploma Program The Diploma Program is a one year series of classes for students who have completed both the Certificate in Basic Studies and the Certificate in Intermediate Studies. Each student will participate in several higher level courses taught by Dr. Wise. They will also be required to select and complete an individualized project. Fall Session 2011 Six weeks of Courses TBA announced beginning the week of October 3 and ending the week of November 5, 2011. Winter Session 2012 January 21, 2012 - Begin independent work on project with monthly meetings with Dr. Wise Spring Session 2012 Complete independent project by May 14, 2012 with monthly meetings with Dr. Wise _________________________________
